Sweet Williams
Another pot of Sweet Williams!
Acer
This acer was accidentally chopped in half when a large tree next to it was taken down. However, it has come back well and seems to be thriving.
Robinia Pseudoacacia
The large tree in the centre of the garden is a Robinia Pseudoacacia, which is a native of the USA. It is a very stately tree, with attractive trailing white flowers.
The downside is that it sends suckers up all over the lawn in July. When they are just a few inches high, they can be mown easily but if they get established they become very tough and are also covered in vicious spikes.
