Abseil & Tyrolean Traverse
On September 25th and 26th 2010, Katie took part in a sponsored Abseil and Tyrolean Traverse for the Woking Hospice charity,
raising over £180.
This took place at the Dukes Court office complex in Woking. This 7-storey block was the local lair of HMRC, but got
scarier still this particular weekend.

Katie did the Abseil on Saturday, coming down very quickly and confidently. The organisers
were so impressed, they asked if she would like to do it again. So she did!

If stepping backwards off a 7-storey building were not scary enough, the Tyrolean
Traverse on Sunday was terrifying...for everyone except Katie.
Instead of simply coming down, this involved going from the top of one tower across a huge gulf
to the other tower. And back.
